I can't believe another week had flown by!! It's been a busy weekend for me. Confero had an off weekend, and one of my dear friends Andy Hopper with  KG Designs brought me on board to do floral design for the weekends events. They had a few things about town, and I jumped right in with them. I designed modern reception florals with callas, and some great leaves. Great lines and great style! I hope you enjoy the photo.

Today has been the usual down time with condo cleaning and laundry. It's time for a little relaxing before the week gets busy again.

Catching Up -

Hello Everyone! I hope this past weekend has been as good for you as it has for me. It was for certain a non-stop full few days. 

Friday night I actually kicked back and had fun evening with some great friends, and relaxed a little before the hustle & bustle of the Guild Gala. Saturday was an early morning to get a jump start and make sure every detail was taken care of. 

We arrived, unloaded, and set everything into place with no problems! Even a well planned event can have a few snags, but I was lucky the day went smoothly. Angela Karen photography was on site for Birmingham Home & Garden capturing the event. We will have to be patient and wait quite a few months for it to be published, but for a sneak peak you can go to Confero's photo gallery to see some event photos.

Weekend Wrap Up

It's time for my weekend wrap, and catch you all up on what I've been up to....

What a busy few days! The weekend was jam packed with fabulous HotHouse happenings. Saturday was the HotHouse Beauty Campaign at Saks Fifth Avenue, and it was a huge success. I'll post some photos very soon! From a 7 a.m. alarm clock to coming home and passing out at 9 p.m., it was a FULL day of work. Mandy did some fabulous flowers, and we all had a great afternoon meeting new people. 

As for my Sunday, was the typical story.... Day of cleaning the condo, laundry, and preparing for my week. I worked quite a bit on my portfolio book for the Engaged library. I'm very proud of my publication design. It's refreshing to use my other talents in a way that benefits

Confero. When I'm finished with the book, I'll publish a PDF version on the website. 

Tomorrow brings a lazy late morning, a great breakfast and an afternoon of meetings.
